She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emilio Montoya and Ysidra Montoya; her daughters, Angela Morales (Manny) of Las Cruces, Tammy Mendez of Alamogordo and Monica Cooksey (Sammy) of Alamogordo; her grandchildren, Arty Salazar, Adria Salazar, Christina Henderson, Dezarae Gomez (Cisco), Valerie Irons (Chance), Marcus Mendez, Cassandra Vickery and Michael Vickery; her great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Luis, Kattaleya, Nathanuel, Gabriel, Norah, Meelah and Emberlynn; her siblings, Ernestine Sullivan (Sully), Cathy Montoya, Rosie Diaz, Ralph Montoya (Linda) and Michael Montoya (Paula); her husband Mario Fernandez; and her granddaughter Marisa Vickery.
