It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carmelita Candelaria of Alamogordo, New Mexico, born in San Patricio, New Mexico, who passed away on March 7, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Felipe Gomez and Beatriz Sedillo; her siblings, Hilario (Maria), Florencio (Juaquinita), Castulo, Daniel (Juanita), Frank (Grace), Sosteno (Winnie), Vicente (Matilde), Roberto (Dolores), Alberto (Dora), Dominia (Pablo Montoya), Estella (Manuel Romero), Inez (Fermin Pacheco) and Lucia (Fernando Pacheco); her children, Jose, Gilbert (Hilda) of Tijeras, NM, James (Janet) of Las Cruces, NM, Anthony (Sue) of Tucson, Ariz. and Sylvia Candelaria of Alamogordo, NM; her grandchildren, Karla Candelaria, Lisa Candelaria, Stephanie Candelaria, Rose Alina Holguin, Aaron Candelaria, Jessica Streeter and Jenna Guzman; her great grandchildren, Sarah, William, Colin McDuffie, Angel Holguin, Lydia, Natalie, Clara Streeter and Ava Guzman; and her husband Benito Candelaria. She was also cherished by 80 nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid Pandemic, attendance at the graveside is limited to 10 people. Please practice social distancing at all times.
