He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his grandson Todd Van Berg II; and his sisters, Donna Witherington and Jean DeWitt. He is survived by: his children, Richard (Sandy) of Surprise, AZ and Sheryl (Todd Van Berg) of Albuquerque; his siblings, Monica Rauhut of Pratt and Virgil Lee Garrett (Sandye) of Melbourne, FL; his grandchildren, Melissa Johnson (Mike Sutton) of Cedar Crest, NM and Brian Johnson of Albuquerque; his great grandchildren, Makayla Johnson, Briana Johnson and Jordan Johnson; and his great great grandchild Krystalynn Garcia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Daniel's Funeral Home on Wyoming Blvd. Please feel free to make donations to your favorite charity in his memory.
