With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Wood (Alamogordo, New Mexico), born in Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on December 3, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Willoughby and Geraldine Willoughby (Barnett); her husband Howard Wood; her sons-in-law, Ralph Carrell and George Saumure; and her sister Cassie Tyler.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Carrell (Tom Ryan), Dusty Wood (Liz) and Lucy Saumure (George); her grandchildren, Billy Carrell (April), Kayce Munoz (Joe), Mike Ryan (Lianna), Jennifer Fambrough (Mark) and Michelle Thomas (Anthony); and her sisters, Suzie Wilson (Jim) and Hallie Jane Willoughby.
