He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Rey and Juanita Rey; and his brothers, Luis Rey, Alfonso Rey, Carlos Rey and Herman Rey.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Elena Rey of Alamogordo, NM; his children, Juanita Najar (Joseph) of Elizabethtown, KY, Maria Herndon (William) of La Luz, NM and Tony Rey (Adina) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Victoria Najar of Elizabethtown, Heather Davis (Jared) of Portland, Danielle Najar of Elizbethtown, KY, Nicholas Najar of Elizabethtown, KY, Victor Rey of St Louis, MO and Alexander Rey of St. Louis, MO; and his great grandchild Rosia Carey of Elizabethtown, KY.. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and great granddaughter.
