He was predeceased by: his father Junie Garcia; his stepfather Mark Guilez; his sister Yvonne Telles; his nephew Adolph Chavez Jr.; and his great-nephew Dakota Bullock.

He is survived by: his mother Romana Chavez; and his siblings, Lulu Hernandez, Annette Gonzales, Bernadette Martinez and Ray Chavez.
