With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ada Lou Hendryx of Alamogordo, New Mexico, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ada left this world on March 14, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claud Cogburn and Helen McCoy Cogburn; and her husband Bill Hendryx. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Hendryx of Fort Worth, TX and David Hendryx of Houston, TX.; her sister Phyllis; her daughter-in-law DeNaye; her granddaughters, McKinley and Kylie; her sister-in-law Trudy Hendryx; her stepgranddaughter Jayme; her brother-in-law Alva Hendryx; and her stepgrandson Monty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cottonwood Christian Fellowship (7035 US-54, Alamogordo, NM 88310).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cottonwood Christian Fellowship building fund in her honor.
