Ventura Gabaldon Sandoval Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ventura Gabaldon Sandoval of Abiquiu, New Mexico, born in Bernalillo, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Gabaldon and Senovia Gabaldon; her husband Gerrardo Sandoval (Herold); her parents-in-law, Joe Sandoval and Sabina Sandoval; her grandson Chase Sandoval; her son-in-law Floyd Trujillo; her siblings, Ernie Gabaldon, Gilbert Gabaldon, Dorothy Lovato, Sophie Rosas and Teresa Medina; and her siblings-in-law, Henry Medina, Joe Rosas and Tonya Gabaldon.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Sandoval (Cris), Mercedes Ocana (Andrew), Louisa Trujillo (late Floyd), Luis Sandoval (Karen), Michael Sandoval and Michelle Hathaway (Korey); her siblings, Aurelio Gabaldon, Toby Gabaldon (Viola), Rita Garcia, Rosie Medina, Margaret Alarid (Louie) and Fred Gabaldon; and her children, Vidal, Deacon Manuel Trujillo, Stacie Branhall, Jamie Atkinson and Tammy Anderson. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 43 great grand children, 4 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A prayer was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (210 Chapel St, Layton, UT 84041).
