She was predeceased by: her parents, Anastacio H. Brito and Sixta L. Brito; her husband German Hernandez; her children, Caesar Hernandez and Marisela Hernandez; and her grandchildren, Christopher Serich and Trinity Serich.
She is survived by: her siblings, Amando Brito of El Paso, TX, Luz Emma Brito of Ojinaga, Chihuahua and Mexico; and her children, Luz Elena Garcia (Aaron) of Santa Fe, NM, Caroline Williams (Danny) of Tulsa, OK, Obelia Balda (Dave) of Riverton, UT, Luis Arturo Hernandez (Carrie) of Artesia, NM and Herman Hernandez (Lora) of Rio Rancho, NM. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
