He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilson Price and Florence Price; his brother Walter; and his brother-in-law Les Freake. He is survived by : his wife Olive; his children, Jonathan and Rochelle Forward (Greg); his siblings, Alwin (Olive), Wilbert (Patsy), David (Emily), Edward (Marina), Calvin (Karen) and Marilyn Freake; and his grandchildren, Claire and Cain Forward.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (12 Earle St, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL A2B1E8). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Windsor Pentecostal Church (97 King St, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL A2B1H2).
