He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrea Serenelli and Giovanna Serenelli (Epifani); and his siblings, Joseph, Anthony, John, Mario, Theresa, Anna Serenelli and Susan Russo.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Serenelli (Migliaccio) of Trenton, NJ; his children, Andrew Serenelli, Robert Serenelli (Marcia), Catherine Serenelli-Heinecke (Marc Heinecke) and Jennie Serenelli-Todd (Christopher Todd); and his grandchildren, Alaina, Angelo, Amalia Serenelli, Ella Heinecke, Andrew and Catherine Todd. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great great nieces and great great nephews.
