He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Melnyk and Tatianna Melnyk; and his wife Rebecca Melnyk. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Proksch and Sally Krawczyk; his sons-in-law, Bill Proksch and Joe Krawczyk; his brother John Melnyk; and his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Brendan Proksch, Kyla, Reagan and Kendall Krawczyk.
