She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Westra; her son Donald Westra, Jr.; and her brother Peter Hagedoorn. She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Abma (James Abma) of Wyckoff, NJ; her daughter-in-law Mary Westra of North Haledon, NJ; her sons, Michael Westra (Sandra) of North Haledon, NJ and John Westra (Kristin) of Avon; and her siblings, Harold Hagedoorn of Lynchburg, VA and Elizabeth Kolk (Hagedoorn) of Fort Mill, SC..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Community Christian Reformed Church.
