It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Mortellaro (Wyckoff, New Jersey), who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his daughter Tricia D. Lyons; and his granddaughter Courtney Lyons. He is survived by: his sister Rhoda Smith; his nieces, Christine Saure and Karen O'Keefe; his nephew Stephen Smith; and his grandsons, Sean and Nicholas Lyons. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
