He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Schaefer Fitzmaurice. He is survived by: his parents, James F. Fitzmaurice Jr. (Patricia) of Greenwood Lake, NY and Jacqueline L. Fitzmaurice of Wyckoff; his children, Zachary and Katherine; his close friend Sue Sandberg; his sister Kathleen Long of Glen Rock; his nephew Andrew; his sister Patricia Fitzmaurice; his brother-in-law Thomas Harty; his nieces and nephews, Victoria, Thomas, Alexandra and Colin; his brother Joseph Fitzmaurice; his sister-in-law Andrea; his nieces and nephews, Joey and Danalyn; and also, Katie, Megan, Jack, Carol Schaefer, Carolyn Weininger and Charles V. Schaefer. He is also survived by his children, family and friends.
Donations in honor of Jim can be made to the American Heart Association or the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation, 160 Essex St, Suite 101, Lodi NJ 07644, where Jim helped Betsy's parents establish an ongoing music therapist in honor of Betsy.
