He was predeceased by: his mother Leona Sumfleth; his wife Maren; his sisters, Leona Kinley, Marion Loori and Janet Verriest; and his siblings-in-law, Justus Lawson, Lloyd Lawson, Bryn Lawson, Sr. and Randi Lawson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
