She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Scherer and Agnes Scherer; and her siblings, James, Frederick, Robert Scherer, Virginia Scherer and Irene Thompson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Agnes Fino and Walter Scherer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Gloria's work with children, the family suggests donations be made to St. Jude's Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
