He was predeceased by: his fathers, John Haven and James TenKate; his brother-in-law Dennis Priestner; and his son-in-law Scott VanderWall. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Haven; his children, Jennifer (Victor Villavicencio), James Haven (Leah), Brenda VanderWall and Laurie (Wayne Fieldhouse); his grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Tyler, Dylan Fieldhouse, Christopher, Samantha VanderWall, Alyssa, Jacob Haven, Jonathan, Olivia and Victor Villavicencio; and his sisters, Nelva Martin, Joyce Priestner, Elaine Dansen and Doris Zeeuw.
In lieu of flowers; memorial contributions in Bernie's name may be made to Abundant Life Reformed Church, Wyckoff or Christian Healthcare Center.
