He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ann Byer and Walter Byer; his wife Winifred Byer; his children, Ronald Byer, Jr. of Perrineville, Beth Anne (Michel Lambrechts) and Brett (Linda Byer); and his grandchildren, Jason Byer (Shawna), Christian Byer, Mary, Zachary Lambrechts, Leanne and Lindsey Byer.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
