He is survived by: his wife Janet E. Brooks; his brother Nelson Brooks, Jr. (Marian); his children, Kenneth Brooks, Cynthia Brooks-Bullock (John) and Marvin Jay Brooks (Molly); his stepchildren, Margaret Ricciardi (Tom), Malcolm Lines (Tina) and Melissa Lines; his grandsons, Otis, Vance and Jared; and his stepgrandchildren, Matthew, Katelyn, Justin, Alyssa, Bryan, Joyce, Robert and Kayla. He is also survived by many extended family and dear friends.
