He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Choate and Anna Mae Choate (Mick); and his wife Mary Choate (Corn). He is survived by: his son Robert J. Choate, Jr.; and his stepdaughter Pamela Lou. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
