He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven and Madeline; and his brother Ronnie. He is survived by: his wife Renee; his sons, Rick Casella (Lisa), Keith Casella and Michael Casella (Cristy); his grandchildren, Marissa, Gianna, Brayden, Michelle (Sean) and Alicia; his great grandchildren, Colton and Kyson; and his siblings, Joe Casella, Nina Fox, Bunny Casella, Stephanie Conway, Steven Casella, Jr., George Casella and Dolly Schiavone. He is also survived by his family first while raising his 3 sons, brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Delaware Valley Veterans Home (Resident Welfare Fund on behalf of Richard Casella), 2701 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154.
