She was loved and cherished by many people including: her friend Village of Woodstown, NJ; her father Irvin Wesley Shappell (Bessie Anna DeHart); her children, Cynthia Winchell Scibal, Jacqueline Winchell Gallagher of Gibbstown, NJ and Lawrence Romie III; her grandchildren, Katharine Scibal Hendrix, Arthur Scibal, Lawrence Romie Winchell IV, Joseph Winchell and Steven Gallagher of Gibbstown, NJ; her great grandchildren, Tristan Scibal, Pearl Winchell, Lawrence Romie Winchell V, Ana Lucia Scibal, Scarlett Winchell, Charlotte Hendrix, Elizabeth Hendrix and Maverick Winchell; and her nieces and nephews, Wayne Johnson, Barry Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Bonnie Johnson Podraza and Sharon Johnson Hughes. She was also cherished by relatives, and parents they always championed children.
