He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Russell Bassett Sr. of Salem and Elma Allen Bassett of Shiloh. He is survived by: his friend Village; his wife Joanne Butcher of Salem; his children, Kimberly Patricia Whitehead (Larry) of Odessa, DE and Edwin Russell Bassett III (MaryBeth) of Shamong, NJ; and his grandchildren, Ryan William Bassett and Emily Margaret Bassett.
