He was predeceased by: his parents, John Layman and Ida Layman (Scull); and his siblings, Frances Warfle, Alice Surran, Joseph Layman, Orville Layman, Mildred Vassallo, Marie Cunningham and Ruth Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Layman (Layton); his children, Donald Layman, Jr. (Kerry) of Pittsgrove and Melissa Lippincott (Ken) of Pilesgrove; his grandchildren, Jacob, Jenna Layman, Lauren, Alex and Benjamin Lippincott; and his sister-in-law Netta Layman.
