With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles W. Schomber Jr. of Woodstown, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Schomber and Harriet Dunner Schomber; his wife Julia; his sisters, Edna Cicchini and Sarah Henderson; and his son-in-law Glenn Albertson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rita Jayne Bobo (Louis), Sharlene Schomber, Barbra-Jean Albertson, Allison Goldsborough (Jason) and Melissa Schomber; his grandsons, Jake, Ethan and Gavin; his siblings, Patricia Zukowski, Charlotte Mele, Louis Schomber (Alma), Roger Schomber, Donald Schomber, Robert Schomber and Linda Gugel (John); his friends, Dallas Dennis and Eileen Aleksiejczyk; and his pet Ziva.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Adams Funeral Home (64 Broad St, Woodstown, NJ 08098). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salem County Humane Society, PO Box 214, Carneys Point, NJ 08069, in Charles's memory.
