He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Gencarelli and Domenica Gencarelli. He is survived by: his wife Vincenza Gencarelli (Ferraro); his children, Mina Terranova (Louie), Rosetta Beneventine (Steve) and Angelo Gencarelli; his grandchildren, Steven, Ashley Beneventine, Michael, Kayla, Ivana Terranova, Gabriella, Angelo and Salvatore Gencarelli; and his brothers, Mario, Francesco and Pasquale Gencarelli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Santangelo Funeral Home (635 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Pompei Church (163 Caldwell Ave, Paterson, NJ 07501).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
