He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schultz and Helen Schultz; his daughter Laura Dale; and his siblings, John, Robert, William, Giles, Helen, Harriet and Gertrude.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Richard Jr. (Samantha) and Kara Suttora (Michael); his grandchildren, Christopher Dale, JackSuttora, Benjamin Suttora and Laura Schultz; and his great grandchild Nicholas Dale.
