She was predeceased by: her spouse Andrzej Kapitula; her parents, Maksym Spiak and Glickieria Spiak (Karlak); and her brother Pawel Spiak. She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Kapitula of Flanders and John Kapitula (Sandra); her granddaughters, Amanda and Julia; and her sister Maria Kapitula (Stefan) of Clifton.
