Generoso Polifonte Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Generoso Polifonte of Woodland Park, New Jersey, who passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Polifonte and Maria Giuseppa Polifonte (Romano); his wife Lucia; and his siblings, Pantaleone "Leo" Polifonte and Carmela Urciuoli.
He is survived by: his children, Anna Maria Tundo (Ralph), Antonella Contuzzi (Rocco) and Tony Polifonte (Donna); his grandchildren, Roseanna Shimansky (John), Anthony Tundo (Katie), Frankie Tundo (Noell), Lucia Innocent (Vincent), Raffaele Contuzzi, Sophia, Joseph and Luciano Polifonte; and his great grandchildren, Lilianna, Gianna Shimansky, Ophelia Tundo and Julian Innocent. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
