It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Steele of Woodland Park, New Jersey, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Cestaro and Rose Cestaro (Amento); her husband Roy Steele; and her siblings, Annette Prince, Edward Cestaro and Joseph Cestaro.
She is survived by: her son Roy Steele; her grandson Corey Steele; her great grandchildren, Addison, Makenna, Sloane, Weston Kiely, Zara, AJ Ferrazzano, Mia and Max Finnegan; and her sister-in-law Ann Cestaro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Santangelo Funeral Home (635 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to an Animal Shelter of your choice or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
