He was predeceased by: his son Lawrence; his parents, Alice Lenahan (Sperzel) and David Lenahan; and his brother Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Helen (Armstrong); his children, Eileen (Stephen Matchett), Kathleen (Gary Michael) and David (Stephanie); his brother Donald Lenahan (MaryCarol); and his grandchildren, Katherine Kelly (Robert), Lauren Matchett, Stephen Matchett, Matthew Michael, Kristen Michael, Kevin Michael, John Lenahan and Daniel Lenahan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Becker Funeral Home (219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ 07675). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (2 Fremont Ave, Park Ridge, NJ 07656).
