With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth S. Desantis of Woodbury, New Jersey, who passed away on September 13, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Anthony DeSantis, Sr.; and her sister Peggy Lorraine Diehl. She is survived by: her children, Linda D. Spies (Stewart) and James A. Jr. (Clare); her grandchildren, Susan Roth (Scott), Christine Hoffman (Barrett), Lauren Shapiro (Josh) and James C. DeSantis (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Jolie, Avery, Elijah, Remy and Rosalie; and her niece Deborah Diehl Brown.
