He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred E. Hill and Eva M. Hill; his wife Mari Ann Hill (Mounce); his children, Richard E. Hill (Tracey), Gary D. Hill (Anne) and Marcia L. Carter (Don); and his grandchildren, Jessica Craig (Matt), Grace Hill, Spencer Carter, Robin Hill, Hannah Carter, Alexis Hill, Molly Cate Hill, Caleb Carter, Charlotte Hill and Daniel Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Rowan College Foundation for the Dan Hill Memorial Scholarship Fund.
