She is survived by: her husband Lieutenant Colonel William J Vankat; her daughters, Jennifer Murphy (Bill), Jessica Dennis (Gary) and Kathleen Stephan; her grandchildren, Nora (Steve), Jimmy (Sarah), Allison, Abigail, Sammy, Casey, Jacob, Josh, Jack, Kylee, Ian, Natalie, Connor, Nolan, Alex, Jordan, Griffin, Spencer, Reed, Luke, Maren and Lyla; and her siblings, Phillip Blatt (Bonnie), Thad Blatt (Carolyn), Paula Wanbaugh, Steven Blatt and Jerome Blatt (Peggy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
