It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth M. Layton of Woodbury, New Jersey, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Abel and Grace Abel (Bauer); her sisters, Florence and Grace (Howard); and her grandson Gary Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Linda Young, Robert (Cindy), Shirley Vecchiolla, Faith McGinniss, Beverly Deleandro (Ray), David and Betty Jean Sooy (John); and her daughters-in-law, Jeanne Abel Yoroshko and Patrice Kaizer. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
