Edward A. Kopec Obituary

Of Woodbury, NJ, passed away on September 13, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 66 years old. He was the beloved husband of Kathi (nee Jarvis), devoted father of Genevieve Kopec (Steven Cammarano) and Sabrina Kopec (Harrison Thomas), loving son of Frank Kopec and the late Stephanie (nee Bauman) Kopec. Dear brother of Barbara Robertson (William), Robert Kopec (Juliana), Catherine Glazar (Timothy), David Kopec (Susan), John Kopec (Patricia), Patricia Kopec, Thomas Kopec and Christopher Smith. Raised in East Camden, Edward was a 1976 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He lived in West Deptford for many years before moving to Woodbury. Ed was a devoted member of the "Pit Crew" of the West Deptford High School Marching Band. He loved the beach, spending summers in Sea Isle City, canoeing and kayaking. He was also an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, but his family was most important in his life.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing 5pm-7pm Tuesday, September 17 at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, 601 NJ 73 South (at Evesham Rd.), Marlton, NJ. A Funeral Service will follow at 7pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Ed's family suggests donations to Zero Out Prostate Cancer. (zerocancer.org).
