It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Shannon (Woodbury, New Jersey), born in McColl, South Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold; and her brother David. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Gould (James), Arnold Shannon (Ruth) and Ronald Shannon (Leanne); her sisters, Ophelia Kitchen, Virgie Montoya, Margaret Labean, Jeanette Redbrook and Geneva Williams; her grandchildren, Desirae Fetty (Jarrod), L. Ryan (Chelsea), Justin Blaum (Krystal), Brittany Smith (Brian), Nicky (Kristen), Caitlyn, Kaylie and Alyssa Shannon; her great grandchildren, Riley, Devon, Logan, Ashton, Aiden, Claire, Chloe and Penelope; and her sister-in-law Aurelia "Mickey" Miller. She is also survived by several in-laws and many nieces & nephews.
