He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Alfred Edwards; his wife Joyce Edwards (Kershner); his children, Stephen Edwards (Silvana), Denise Silvestri (Kris) and David Edwards; his stepchildren, Colleen March (Ryan), Michael Fonash (Leah) and Darren Fonash; and his grandchildren, Jaclyn, Alyssa, Julianna, Nicholas, Brandon, Tyler and Mason.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital St. Jude Donate.
