She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse William Murphy (Bill); her parents, Ellen J. and Charles E. Struck; her siblings, Ellen Dawley and Kathryn Harris; and her nieces and nephews, Ellen Beucler, Kathryn Ellison, Earl Dawley and Wayne Harris.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bette's memory to the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbury Heights, 335 Elm Ave. Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097.
