She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Caroccia and Fiore Caroccia; her husband Michael Serak; her daughter Phyllis Ann Serak; and her siblings, Frances LaMana, Rose Caroccia, Carmine, Nicholas, Lorenzo, Joseph and Vito Caroccia.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Peterson (Norman) of Glen Gardner, Loretta McNamara (Peter) of Manahawkin and Rose Richter (Alan) of Ocean City; her brother Fiore Caroccia, Jr.; her grandchildren, Norman Peterson (Heather), Michael Peterson (Rachelle), Peter McNamara (Brittney) and Melissa Campbell (Ian); and her great grandchildren, Norman, Evelyn, Wesley, Luke and Holden. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
