She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bukowczyk and Sophie Waiter Bukowczyk; and her siblings, Mary Chevalier and Joseph Bukowczyk. She is survived by: her husband John E. Malik, Jr.; her children, Sharon Behr of Sayreville and Edward Malik (Helmy Yanti) of Rahway; and her grandchildren, Alyssa Behr and Tristan Behr.

Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home - Woodbridge (44 Green St, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095). A prayer was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. James R. C. Church (365 Amboy Ave, Woodbridge, NJ 07095). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Gertrude's Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
