He is survived by: his wife Andrea Mati Demarest; his sons, Andrew Demarest (Robin) of South Amboy and John Demarest of Laurence Harbor; his siblings, Catherine Minkler of Woodbridge, Margaret Mega of Clark, NJ, John Demarest of Myrtle Beach, Peter Demarest of Woodbridge and Paul Demarest of Middletown, NJ; and his grandchildren, Andrew and Leanna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
