He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Carney and Edith Gurnsey Carney. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Spisak Carney; his children, Laura Schneider (Glenn) of Edison, Lisa Cassitta of Woodbridge, Jennifer Rodriguez (Steve) of Cranford and Matthew Carney of Hampton, NJ; his grandchildren, Tommy, Ashley, Billy, Amanda, Justin, Sarah, Makayla, Kyle, Jaxon, Mason and Siena; and his great grandchildren, Callie and J. T..
