It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Eileen Popovich of Woodbridge, New Jersey, born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marilyn McElroy and Gerald McElroy; and her sister Rosemary Gatto. She is survived by: her husband Michael Popovich; her daughters, Katherine Popovich (Jeffrey Smith) of Woodbridge and Kristin Popovich of Woodbridge; her siblings, Susan Sherman of East Northport, NY, Erin Surowitch of South Amboy and Gerald McElroy of Chesapeake, VA; and her grandchildren, Adrianna and Michael. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
