He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gaughran and Mary Gaughran (Monaghan); his son-in-law Michael Haake; and his former wife Barbara Gaughran. He is survived by: his children, Joann Gaughran (Elie Spiesel) of South Orange, Jean Haake of Metuchen, June Bruni (Daniel) of Phoenixville, Jaquelyn Gritz (Jamie) of Stewartsville, Jennifer Velez (Joseph) of Fords, Jodi Geyer (Randy) and Sean Gaughran (Maureen) of Colonia; his grandchildren, Madison, Aoife, Thomas, Zachary, Bryelle, Berit, Emily, Jackson, Jadyn, Juliet, Jacob, Brady and Brendan; and his brother Edward Gaughran of Carmel, NY..
