We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2025, at the age of 90, Evelyn M. LaPenta of Woodbridge, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jane and William Denning; her grandson Antonio Prestien-Lopez; her sister Jane Balog; and her former husband Robert W. LaPenta.
She is survived by: her son Robert D. LaPenta (Christina) of Woodbridge; her grandchildren, Katelynn Nalewajko, Cassandra Milanese and Anthony LaPenta; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kenzie, Nicholas and Michael.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home - Woodbridge (44 Green St, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (44 Green St, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Saint Andrew Catholic Church (244 Avenel St, Avenel, NJ 07001). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Resurrection Cemetery (361 Sharrott Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309).
