She was predeceased by: her parents, Jane and William Denning; her grandson Antonio Prestien-Lopez; her sister Jane Balog; and her former husband Robert W. LaPenta.

She is survived by: her son Robert D. LaPenta (Christina) of Woodbridge; her grandchildren, Katelynn Nalewajko, Cassandra Milanese and Anthony LaPenta; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kenzie, Nicholas and Michael.
