He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Tighe and Elizabeth Tighe; his wife Eileen (Mulvey); and his brother John Tighe. He is survived by: his children, Patrick Tighe (Sue) of Piscataway, Dawn Kanaszka (Steve) of Pawleys Island, SC and Kevin Tighe (Kimberly) of Woodbridge; and his grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Nikki, Troy, Courtney, Zachary and Mackenzie. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Resurrection Burial Park (899 E Lincoln Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854).
