He was predeceased by: his wife Helen (Mesics); his parents, Charles P. Volk, Sr. and Lydia (Blumlein) of Colonia; and his sisters, Ethel Volk and Lydia Gottlick of Colonia.
He is survived by: his sister Muriel Sziber of Bridgewater. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
