In the sacred silence of farewell, Bayani is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Bayani's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodolfo Sumulong and Belen Sumulong; and his brother Noel Sumulong. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sumulong; his children, Kathryn Calagui (Mark) and Shaun Sumulong; his grandson Noah Xavier Calagui; and his siblings, Violeta Pulmano, Merly Lina, Eugenio Sumulong and Marylou Gifford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gerity & Chubenko Funeral Home (411 Amboy Ave, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. James R. C. Church (369 Amboy Ave, Woodbridge, NJ 07095).
